NEW VENUE: We have a Special Guest attending this meeting, recently appointed Chief Operations Officer (COO) of the GBOTA Daniel Weizman. This meeting coincides with the 30th. The Camden Branch held a Special Meeting on Monday 14th March 2022, to elect office bearers for 2022. GBOTA General Manager Steve Noyce was in attendance and gave members a in sight into the GBOTA,the most important issue being Wentworth Park and Metropolitan Racing. Metropolitan Area Director Ray Welsh conducted the election for the 2022 Camden Branch Office Bearers. Well done to all who received an award at the branch presentation night for 2017. Training honours went to Anne Kada and Tony Pagano while Les Horner and Cheryl Betts took out the owner/trainer sections. I was the proud recipient of owner and breeding honours. Country greyhound went to Diane Wells, quinella greyhound went to Les Horner. Cheryl Betts had two of the three finalists taking out the greyhound of the year with Pursayis. A big thanks to our MC Gary Clark and to Coleen Abella and all our sponsors.
