Victorian-based chaser Dutch Riot took out the G1 Ladbrokes Paws Of Thunder final at Wentworth Park over the 520m on Saturday evening of the 20th January, delivering trainer Col Bermingham with his first group victory as a conditioner.
The son of Fernando Bale and Blue Sky Riot was brilliant from box one, posting a sizzling time of 29.54, in recording his 13th career victory, for owner and Bermingam’s wife, Sandra. The couple have previously tasted Group One glory in the 2019 Melbourne Cup, with Whiskey Riot victorious in conjunction with trainer, Anthony Azzopardi.
