She’s A Pearl Takes Out G2 Ladbrokes Temora Cup Final

A healthy crowd was in attendance at GBOTA Temora tonight to witness star chaser She’s A Pearl going one better in running of the 2023 edition of the G2 Ladbrokes Temora Cup Final over the 457m. After finishing runner-up in her heat defeat behind Salad Dodger last Sunday evening, the roles were reversed tonight as the Jodie Lord-trained chaser speared the lids from box two and was never headed in a new track record winning time of 25.38. Previous track record Salad Dodger was game in defeat finishing two lengths away in,second, with Neil Staines claiming third place with Wiradjuri Jack.

It was She’s A Pearl’s 30th career victory from start 50, with her prizemoney total now sitting at $1,662.700.

She’ll now head to Wentworth Park to defend her G1 Ladbrokes Golden Easter Egg crown, with heats to be run and won on 25th March 2023.
