While he was considered as one of the “outsiders” of the field according to punters, Zipping Orlando produced a stunning performance to lead from start to finish in the Farrell’s G1 Association Cup Final over 720m.
Farrell’s Biscuits have been revived and distributed by respected trainers Craig and Sam Chappelow, fittingly with astute winning trainers John and Melinda Finn notable users of the product. Exiting from box six, the son of Zipping Garth and Zipping Dharma, owned by the Hallinan family was never headed in an all the way display, saluting by four lengths at the finish over Bandit Jane in second and Ritza Piper in third, posting a blistering time of 41.53. After showing outstanding promise as a youngster, scoring in his first eight straight appearances, the final was only his third 720m start with a third and first on his two previous occasions. His record now boasts thirteen wins from twenty appearances and $184,475 in prizemoney earnings.
