It was a case of “like mother, like daughter” for Barry Gibbons’ Tulsi Banner, who was simply brilliant in taking out the recent Group One Ladbrokes Peter Mosman Opal final at Wentworth Park.
Exiting from box six, the daughter of Blue Moon Rising and Lilly Banner, who took out the same event back in 2020, careered away in the home straight, to salute by 5.25 lengths in a slick time of 29.60.
It was her 9th career win from 14 starts, with a seemingly, very promising future ahead. Lorraine Jacky produced another consistent effort for, Jack Smith, to finish second, while Chris Kedwell’s first appearance in a Group One final was a successful one with, Out Of Style, placing third.
