Astute conditioner Melinda Finn, added another Group One title to her already-impressive resume, taking out the Futurity final with Gets Late Early.
The daughter of Flying Ricciardo and Poco Dorado, who Finn also put the polish on, is certainly maturing into a handy chaser, scoring by 1.5 lengths in a solid time of 29.85. She started as a $12 chance from box three, with Finn very emotional post-race after recently losing her much-loved and respected husband, John.
