Trainer Tom Rees became our industry’s newest Group One winning trainer, after talented youngster History’s Coming, claimed honours in the G1 Ladbrokes National Derby final on January 20th.
Exiting from box four, the son of Aston Dee Bee and Furious Not Fast sped away to salute by six lengths at the finish in a slick time of 29.54.
It was his 7th career victory from just his 10th attempt, with the 33kg talent yet to be unplaced.
