Slipping Tracks
The NSW GBOTA is affiliated with a number of slipping tracks. Below is information for Members on how to access these training facilities.
APPIN | We are dedicated to making Appin a safe and beneficial facility for all participants and therefore to undertake further permanent rectification works, the track will now be closed until 14th September 2022, for the installation of new safe chase lure, catching pen, timing device and track rejuvenation.We appreciate your continued patience and understanding and we’re confident these works will be welcomed by all. |
Gosford Gosford Showground, Showground Road, Gosford Grass Surface, approximately 220 metres in length. Open: Monday: 7.30am – 6pm *Availability will depend on other events scheduled for Gosford Showground. Notices will be displayed. Membership is $10 annually. Cards are non transferable. Membership is completed through the Gosford Office. Fee: $2 per greyhound applies Track Rules: Conditions of use are: 1. Slipping Track is for Card holders only 2. Only greyhound are permitted on the slipping track 3. Greyhounds must be emptied prior to use of track 4. Greyhounds must be slipped uphill only with a catcher to be supplied 5. Gates must remain closed during use 6. Use of facility is at own risk 7. LISMORE NOT A NSW GBOTA TRACK – CURRENTLY NOT OPERATIONAL DUE TO FLOODING Tuncester Road, South Lismore Grass Surface, approximately 400 metres in length Open: The Slipping track is accessible 24hrs a day to key holders. Memberships are renewed in November annually. New Members may join at $50, lapsed memberships are $70 per annum with no prorata to apply. Keys are distributed to members on membership applications. Should members lose their key a replacement may be received for an additional fee. Keys must be returned at time of renewal.
